Try to listen to this and NOT dance around your kitchen

A recent Sunday Boston Globe article listed bands to keep an eye out for in 2011, Lord Huron was among them. I love all of their songs that I have found thus far, but The Stranger is by far my favourite. Their sound is like a blend of Dawes, Rusted Root and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

The Stranger evokes dancing and clapping...both of which happen when I listen to it (which can be a challenge while typing about said song). Just the other night I was making dinner for a double date night and had it on, and danced around our kitchen while I cooked...well, it was more like pace joyfully back and forth since our kitchen is so small.

Still, it is a dance friendly place, as is your kitchen, I'm sure.

Their website says, just before you click enter 'You were a wild thing when you were younger'.

So go put on the song, embrace your inner wild thing and dance:)
